Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of six guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £10.00 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

Living the Andalucian Way

"Tamisa" - is the old Roman name for Mijas. Tamisa is built on multiple levels: the 1st level, and the location of the front door, is accessed via a flight of stairs from street level.

This 1st level comprises of the hallway, a spacious lounge that has a TV with IPTV and Netflix, dining room, fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hobs, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle etc.

There is a separate utility room with a washing machine. Also located on this level is a shower room with a large walk-in-shower, wc & basin. Outside on the terrace is the built-in Andalucian style charcoal BBQ which is located right next to the kitchen and the shaded dining area.

Up a flight of stairs leads to two lovely bright and airy twin bedded rooms, these two air-conditioned bedrooms share a bathroom that has a bath with a shower-over-the-bath, basin & wc. The fabulous air-conditioned master suite (pictures to the left) is also on this level ... it has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-the-bath, basin & wc. There is also a seating area with views of the Sierra de Mijas and a lovely private south facing terrace ... a great spot so share a private breakfast with your partner whist planning the day ahead.

Lounge around the pool at Tamisa

The lower terrace leads to the back of the villa and upwards to the middle terrace, here you will find an area with several sunbeds ... just above is the pool level that has a shaded area at the far end with a sofa and chairs.

There are great views from here across the rooftops of Mijas Pueblo.

Enjoy the great cuisine of Spain

Relax & enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch. Iberico pork is particularly good here and ribs in BBQ sauce a particular favourite of mine. Fish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the Carrefour supermarket has a fabulous choice. The wines of Spain are fantastic and they like to keep the best ones to themselves, what a better way to spend an evening than to sample different Riojas and Cavas.

Down the hill, only 10 minutes away are the long sandy beaches of Fuengirola ... with its delightful little marina and palm fringed promenade, it's a lovely location to enjoy a leisurely walk or a coffee overlooking the yachts. 'Lew Hoads' famous tennis club and restaurant is also only 5 minutes away by car.

Whether you're looking for a beach and action holiday for the kids or a lazy getaway break, the Costa del Sol has something for everyone.
