Villa Veleta

Villa Veleta has a very Mediterranean feel ... white washed walls and use of local materials makes for a special ambiance.

The interior of the villa is all on one level with the exception of the en suite turret room which is accessed by a separate staircase leading from the terrace.

The spacious lounge/dining room has 2 leather sofas, open fire place and has a large screen TV, DVD player and an I-Pod dock. The modern well equipped kitchen with its granite surfaces has a ceramic hobs, electric oven, combination microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and toaster etc.

All of the 4 bedrooms have use of their own bathroom or shower-room. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed, en suite shower-room (with a large walk-in shower, wc & basin) and its own private terrace. The middle twin bedroom has a bathroom opposite with shower over bath, sink, bidet and w/c. The last twin bedroom in the main house has a shower-room opposite with a walk in shower, w/c and sink.

The en suite turret twin room has French windows to make the most of the views. This bedroom also benefits from an en suite shower-room with a walk-in shower, sink and w/c. The turret has its own set of keys and is a particular favorite with teenagers or families holidaying with grandparents.

The pool area is below the terrace and has cool shaded areas to relax in, this area is gated & fenced. There is a bar area with sink & electric points underneath the terrace. There are plenty of sun beds for everyone surrounding the tempting waters of your own private pool. The pool is approx. 8m x 4m and has gentle Roman style steps. The pool can be heated for an additional charge, perfect for slipping into warm waters all year around.

You can work up an appetite or burn off those extra holiday calories by walking into the village, it takes about 10 minutes ... a route on a quiet road but up a steep hill forabout half of the way .... at least it is all downhill on the way home!

The beaches and aquapark at Fuengirola are only 10 minutes drive away (7km). Mijas Pueblo is just a short hop by car and, if you feel fit, it is also within walking distance.

Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!
