Casa Coco is a a fabulous contemporary, spacious modern villa that is beautifully furnished & decorated. A special place with stunning views of the Mediterranean and all the way to Africa on a clear day.

Located just 10 minutes by car from Fuengirola and its long sandy beaches and only 5 minutes from the picturesque Andalucian villages of Mijas & Benalmadena Pueblos where you will find many charming shops and restaurants - perfect for an early evening stroll. There are many wonderful restaurants and tapas bars in this area (see our Restaurant Guide).

Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of six guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £10€12.20 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150€183.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

A contemporary and stylish villa decorated to a high standard

Casa Coco has a very modern contemporary feel ... clean lines and quality furnishings makes for a special ambiance. The interior of the villa is all on one level with the exception of the master en suite bedroom which is located on the first floor.

On entering Casa Coco you will notice the light & spacious feel that the open plan lounge, dining area & kitchen give. The lounge has a large flat screen TV with IPTV (TV via the internet) DVD player, & WiFi Internet.

Next to the lounge is a modern fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops, electric oven and hobs (stove tops), microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and a breakfast bar. Also on this level are two of the three bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: This air-conditioned bedroom has 2 x single beds, direct access to the pool and gardens and has an en suite bathroom that has a bath with a shower-over-the-bath, wc and basin.

Bedroom 2: Is also air-conditioned and has a super king size bed and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower, wc and basin. The washing machine is also located in this bathroom.

Bedroom 3: Up a flight of stairs to the first floor leads to the air-conditioned master bedroom that has a king size bed and an en suite bathroom that has a bath and a walk-in shower, wc and basin. The bedroom also benefits from a large private terrace that overlooks the pool and has an outdoor sofa set.

Leading from the lounge is a shaded terrace with dining facilities for eight, a webber kettle BBQ and a comfortable 'wicker' sofa set ... an ideal place to relax in the shade whilst watching the children play in the pool.

With in excess of 320 days sunshine a year, you are practically guaranteed perfect weather for a BBQ. Have a long leisurely lunch sampling some of the best food and drink the Mediterranean has to offer.

The shaded terrace that overlooks the pool is a lovely area to all sit down & enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch. Iberico pork is particularly good here and ribs in BBQ sauce a particular favourite of mine. Fish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the supermarket at Corte Ingles has a fabulous choice. The wines of Spain are fantastic and they like to keep the best ones to themselves, what a better way to spend an evening than to sample different Riojas and Cavas ... ... if though on occasions you would prefer a chef to prepare your meals this can be arranged ... for this service please our Villa Catering page.

If cooking is too much like hard work there are many excellent restaurants in the area to try. A short drive away in Mijas village is El Mirlo Blanco (see our Restaurant Guide) which serves authentic Spanish cuisine with an emphasis on dishes from Nothern Spain. This is a wonderful place in the summer to sit outside on the terrace overlooking the Plaza de la Constitution in Mijas Village centre. In the winter you move inside to a snug room with the smell of burning olive wood ... whatever time of the year you will enjoy one of my favourite restaurants.

Relax by the pool whilst soaking up the Andalucian sun

Located on the same level as the lounge and al fresco terrace is a beautiful kidney shaped swimming pool (8m x 4m) with easy access, making it perfect for young children & none swimmers alike.

Sunbeds & pool towels are provided both provided at Casa Coco.

The white washed village of Mijas Pueblo

With everything you would need for the perfect vacation right at Casa Coco you probably will not want to venture too far. But, if you do, the white washed village of Mijas is only 5 km away.

This charming mountain village boasts sweeping views towards the Mediterranean and the Rif mountains of North Africa. The centre of the village is a tangle of narrow streets and was once an important commercial and trading centre for the Romans. Standing above the village are the Sierra de Mijas mountain range which is surrounded by pine forest. For such a small town there is a very good selection of bars and restaurants serving mouth watering local cooking as well as international cuisine.

Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!

Casa Coco is also well situated for those seeking a cultural holiday ... the drive to the historic town of Ronda is one not to be missed, and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is an interesting 2 hour drive. Cordoba and Sevilla are also both easily accessible with a hire car.
