Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of eleven guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

A spacious interior tastefully furnished

Welcome to Villa Irena ... Your holiday home in Mijas which has been tastefully furnished with comfort in mind.

On entering Villa Irena you will find the spacious dining area which has direst access to the south facing terrace. To the right is the cosy lounge area with comfortable sofas and flat screen Smart TV. To the left of the dining area is the modern cooks kitchen which has a central isle, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 fridges, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine.

There is a separate utility area off the kitchen where the freezer and washing machine are located. Directly outside the kitchen is the outside dining area and BBQ.

On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 are twin bedrooms and bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with a king size bed. These 3 bedrooms share a shower room with a sink, W/C and walk in shower. Please note there is a cloak room with W/C and sink in the front entrance hall.

Upstairs is the spacious master suite which has a private terrace with views across the sea, built in wardrobes and an ensuite shower room with W/C, sink and walk in shower.

Large private pool and alfresco dining.

Who needs to go elsewhere when you can relax by the pool located in lush gardens! The pool is approx 10m x 4m and has gentle Roman style steps.

Once you've worked up an appetite the outdoor dining area and BBQ is situated outside the kitchen making it the perfect spot for a long leisurely lunch.

A Spacious guest apartment for 3 guests.

The garden apartment is located by the pool area and is available to sleep an additional 3 guests in 1 x double bedroom and 1 x single which are air conditioned. These bedrooms share a shower room with W/C, sink and shower. The apartment benefits from its own spacious lounge/ kitchen area.

NOTE: Garden apartment is ONLY available when you book Villa Irena and is never let on its own.

A tranquil setting yet only 5 minutes from Mijas Pueblo

Villa Irena is located in the prestigious area of Valtacado, less than 10 minute drive away from Mijas, one of Spain's most celebrated Pueblos Blancos (White Villages). Here, where you will find traditional craft shops, quaint cobbled streets and maybe even the occasional donkey.

Mijas is a wonderful place to wander around, with its narrow streets opening onto bustling plazas offering a choice of numerous restaurants and tapas bars all year around. This gives you plenty of places to sample Spanish culinary delights.

Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites is Venta de los Condes which is less than 5minutes away from Villa Irena and serves fantastic food. My favourite dish is the BBQ'ed prawns.

Lively Fuengirola is just 15 minutes away and boasts many fine restaurants, water sports, beaches, a marina and an aquapark. Marbella with its marina and stylish shops is 30 minutes by car.

Villa Irena is also well situated for those seeking a cultural holiday ... the drive to the historic town of Ronda is one not to be missed, and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is an interesting 2 hour drive. Cordoba and Sevilla are also both easily accessible with a hire car or by coach.
