Paseo del Mar

Paseo del Mar is a delightful holiday home ideally situated for those guests that wish to be close to the beach.

The light and airy air conditioned lounge-dining area is newly furnished with quality items and tasteful decor.

There is a TV with IPTV, DVD player and a cd/radio/cassette player are all provided.

The lounge leads onto a glazed and shaded terrace that has sea views and also overlooks the pool.

The modern kitchen is well equipped and has electric hobs, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dish washer and a washing machine (in a separate utility room), coffee machine etc.

There are 3 bedrooms, all air conditioned (with heating in the winter) - one double with an en suite bathroom, and two with twin beds. These bedrooms share a second bathroom.

There is a covered area by the pool with an American pool table, great for keeping the kids of all ages occupied.

The pool area is located below the house and is private and has comfortable sun loungers (the pool can be heated for an additional charge), there is a second larger community pool and gardens that you may also use. Cool off in your own private pool or stroll down to the beach at El Faro where it gently slopes into the inviting waters of the Mediterranean.

Just above the pool is an outdoor dining area with a built-in BBQ (photo in the Image Gallery - below)... a great place to relax over a long lunch while planning the day ahead.

El Faro beach is only a few minutes walk and has its own beach bar & restaurant . Also nearby, just a 100 meters away, is a second larger community pool and gardens that you may also use.

Paseo del Mar is only a short distance (3 km) from Fuengirola and is a popular attraction with its many shops, restaurants and aqua-park. The Andalucian village of Mijas, with its old fashioned charm, is only 10/15 minutes by car.

La Cala de Mijas (3 km) is a seaside village and has one of the nicest beaches in the area (photograph shown) ... the beach here at La Cala is ideal for children and adults alike ... there are several chiringitos (beach bars) that serve mouth watering snacks and seafood ... you must try some BBQ sardines!

Many International golf courses including Miraflores, Mijas golf, Santa Maria, Rio Real etc are all within a short 15-minute drive ... see our Costa del Sol golf course guide. Lew Hoads famous tennis club is also only a short drive away as are the riding stables at Alhaurin Golf & Country Club.
