Rental terms
These rates apply to a maximum of six guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking.
This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.
Tastefully furnished with a high standard of decor
The large split level lounge/dining room is particularly bright and spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. There is a Smart TV and a stereo system. Leading from the lounge is the kitchen complete with gas hobs, electric oven, microwave, fridge + freezer compartment and a dishwasher. There is also a utility room complete with a washing machine and tumble-dryer.
On the same level as the lounge is a twin bedded room with an en-suite bathroom. The stairs from the lounge lead to the first floor large master bedroom with double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The third twin bedroom with en-suite shower-room is located in an annexe in the garden (photos on page 2). This is a lovely room just 10 metres from the main house which offers privacy but is not too secluded.
And for those of you that must stay 'connected' (and I'm unfortunately one of them) Casa Clover has a WiFi wireless Internet connection (please bring your own laptop, no extra costs involved).
The pool area is private & not overlooked
The pool is private & not overlooked, it has shade for just part of the day ... there is always somewhere in the garden that has full sun to top up your tan!
Next to the pool is a shaded al fresco dining area and a fabulous built-in charcoal BBQ.
PLEASE NOTE: whilst the photographs show the pool in shade it does in fact have sun on the pool most of the day.
Views of the Mediterranean and just a 5 minute stroll to Mijas Village
With in excess of 320 days sunshine a year, you are practically guaranteed perfect weather for a BBQ. Have a long leisurely lunch sampling some of the best food and drink the Mediterranean has to offer.
The shaded terrace & BBQ are located next to the pool, a lovely area to all sit down & enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch. Iberico pork is particularly good here and ribs in BBQ sauce a particular favorite of mine. Fish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the supermarket at Corte Ingles has a fabulous choice. The wines of Spain are fantastic and they like to keep the best ones to themselves, what a better way to spend an evening than to sample different Riojas and Cavas.
If cooking is too much like hard work there are many excellent restaurants in the area to try. Just a 5 minute walk away is the Fiesta Bar & Restaurant (see our restaurant guide), one of my favorites ... always consistently good & reasonably priced. Try a Pil Pil to start & something from the BBQ for a main, you won't be dissapointed.

Casa Clover and Mijas was the most relaxing place to have spent the middle week of our honeymoon. Your recommendations of restaurants again is honest and accurate, but we felt you would be unlucky to have a disappointing meal anywhere in Mijas. We personally would also recommend the La Fuente if you are too lazy to walk the rest of the way into Mijas and Fiesta is fully booked.
