Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of eight guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

A spacious home from home.

As you enter your holiday villa into the hall way, the spacious lounge and dining area is straight in front of you which opens onto a large terrace. The lounge is equipped with a SMART TV, comfy sofas and Wifi. To the left is the kitchen which is equipped with everything you would expect to fine. Electric hob, oven, microwave, cafetière, large fridge and dishwasher. The washing machine is located down stairs in the utility room along with a further fridge/ freezer. Also on this level is the generously sized master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, with bath, walk in shower, sink and W/C.

Downstairs are the further 3 bedrooms. The 2 x twin bedrooms share a bathroom with shower over bath, W/C and double sinks. The second spacious double bedroom has an ensuite shower room with walk in shower, sink and W/C. These 3 bedrooms all have direct access to the pool area.

A place to relax and unwind.

A big part of a Spanish holiday is spending time outside and making the most of the sunshine, and the outdoor areas at this property are just great for this. The large pool (approx. 12m x 5m at the widest points) is perfect for a dip to cool off. There are plenty of sun beds for everyone.

It will be difficult to find the time or inclination to leave and explore the pretty surrounding area of Mijas.Have a long leisurely lunch sampling some of the best food and drink the Mediterranean has to offer. Close to the pool is a shaded BBQ area with a gas BBQ. It's a a lovely area to all sit down & enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch. Iberico pork is particularly good here and rfish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the supermarket at Corte Ingles has a fabulous choice. The wines of Spain are fantastic and they like to keep the best ones to themselves, what a better way to spend an evening than to sample different Riojas and Cavas.

Only a few minutes drive to the heart of Mijas Village

With everything you would need for the perfect vacation right at Villa Aquarelas you probably will not want to venture too far. But, if you do, the white washed village of Mijas is only a few k'sm away.

This charming mountain village boasts sweeping views towards the Mediterranean and the Rif mountains of North Africa. The centre of the village is a tangle of narrow streets and was once an important commercial and trading centre for the Romans. Standing above the village are the Sierra de Mijas mountain range which is surrounded by pine forest. For such a small town there is a very good selection of bars and restaurants serving mouth watering local cooking as well as international cuisine.

Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 10 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!

Villa Aquarelas is also well situated for those seeking a cultural holiday ... the drive to the historic town of Ronda is one not to be missed, and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is an interesting 2 hour drive. Cordoba and Sevilla are also both easily accessible with a hire car.
