Furnished for both comfort and relaxation
All the accommodation at Casa Arriba is on one level. You will enter your holiday villa into the spacious, bright and airy lounge & dining room with seating for six people. SKY TV (free to view pack), DVD player and a cd/radio cassette player are all provided. Leading off the lounge is the kitchen which has an electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and washing machine.
There is a master double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower-room. Opposite the first twin bedroom is the shower room with walk in shower, basin and w/c. Close to the master bedroom and second twin bedroom is the bathroom with shower over bath, sink and w/c.
Siesta in the shade or sunbathe by the pool
The pool area is located immediately outside the lounge and is private and not overlooked. Sun loungers, garden furniture etc are all provided. Next to the pool is a lovely terrace and a dining area with shade; a great place to bbq, dine at night or watch the sun go down behind the mountains whilst sipping your glass of Rioja on one of those balmy evenings.
The Villa is close to Mijas with its special atmosphere offering plenty to see and do
Sit down & enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch. Iberico pork is particularly good here and ribs in BBQ sauce a particular favourite of mine. Fish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the supermarket at Corte Ingles has a fabulous choice. The wines of Spain are fantastic and they like to keep the best ones to themselves, what a better way to spend an evening than to sample different Riojas and Cavas.
Casa Arriba is just a 10 minute stroll (please note that approx. 200 metres is fairly steep) from the picturesque Andalucian village of Mijas; there you will find many charming shops and restaurants - perfect for that early evening stroll.
The beaches and aquapark at Fuengirola are only a 10-minute drive away (8km). Lew Hoads' famous tennis club and the riding stables at Alhaurin are also very close by. Venture just a short way inland to uncover the delights of "Real Spain" - an area peppered with traditional Spanish restaurants ("ventas") amid breathtaking mountain views.
Property Guest Book
"Hi Ian,
Just arrived back from my second visit this year to Casa Arriba. The villa was just as lovely as before very cosy bright and comfortable, in such a beautiful spot, relaxing and peaceful.
It was lovely sitting on the patio looking at the views of the sea and mountains. It has become a favorite place for me, and even harder to leave. Thank you again for such a lovely holiday."
