Something rather special - a stunning modern residence with a big WOW factor. Located in a tranquil countryside setting, yet only minutes from the restaurants and markets of Alhaurin El Grande and 25min away from the famous beaches of Marbella.

Please Note: due to the design of Villa La Paz we would not recommend this residence for young children & can only accept booking for families with older children.

La Paz has 6 bedrooms but 4 are not available for rental (these bedrooms are unoccupied during your stay) ... the owner only wishes to rent to a maximum of 4 guests, hence La Paz is a very spacious villa for just 4 guests.

Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of four guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: air conditioning, pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £10.00 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

An eclectic mix of modern and contemporary furnishings

The fabulous open plan 'Chefs' kitchen is set in a striking glass atrium has everything you could wish for - stainless steel worktops, professional 5 ring gas hobs (stove top), 2 x ovens, combi microwave, American style fridge/freezer + a larder fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine etc.

The kitchen also has a dining area and a lovely shaded terrace that leads to the garden at the rear of the house.

Also on this level is the spacious lounge that has a baby grand piano. The lounge opens out onto a shaded terrace that has numerous comfortable chairs - an ideal spot for a sundowner or a place to relax & read a book. At one end of the terrace is a covered al fresco dining area that overlooks the pool.

Next to the lounge is a TV room with a large screen TV with a 'Britpack' package (see our FAQ page for which channels you can receive) and a DVD player. Leading from here is the indoor formal dining room.

Down a flight of stairs leads you to the two air-conditioned bedrooms:

Oriental Bedroom: a striking spacious bedroom with a double bed, AC & direct access to the pool area. En suite bathroom with the same oriental theme - bath, wc, bidet, basin.

Neoclassical Bedroom: double bed, AC - with direct access to the pool areas. En suite shower-room with a walk-in shower, wc, basin.

A special place to relax and unwind

The stylish floodlit black tiled pool looks gorgeous and is surrounded with ample sunbeds and shade.

Adjacent to the pool is a bar & a BBQ area ... if though on occasions you would prefer a chef to prepare your meals this can be arranged ... for this service please see our villa catering page.

The white washed village of Mijas

With everything you would need for the perfect vacation right at Villa la Paz you probably will not want to venture too far. But, if you do, the white washed village of Mijas is only 10 minutes away.

This charming mountain village boasts sweeping views towards the Mediterranean and the Rif mountains of North Africa. The centre of the village is a tangle of narrow streets and was once an important commercial and trading centre for the Romans. Standing above the village are the Sierra de Mijas mountain range which is surrounded by pine forest. For such a small town there is a very good selection of bars and restaurants serving local as well as international cuisine.

Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is only 2 minutes by car. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!

Villa la Paz is also well situated for those seeking a cultural holiday ... the drive to the historic town of Ronda is one not to be missed, and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is an interesting 2 hour drive. Cordoba and Sevilla are also both easily accessible with a hire car.
