Tastefully furnished with a high standard of decor
El Toril - a lovely traditional Spanish 4 bedroom, turreted villa with its own driveway and parking for 3 or 4 cars.
An idyllic setting with mature Mediterranean gardens, on an 8,000 m2 plot with breathtaking views over the Mijas countryside to the Mediterranean Sea.
El Toril has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday.
The air conditioned interior of El Toril has a spacious lounge; this lounge is exquisitely furnished with comfortable sofas, and artistic decor. The room has a light and airy atmosphere with doors leading to a patio overlooking the landscaped gardens.
Next to the lounge is a separate dining room which seats eight and there is further seating for a bit of time out in a cosy snug off to the side of the lounge which has a TV, a DVD player and an IPTV box (Filmon - TV via the Internet - note: there is a small weekly charge for the Internet, paid locally on -line).
The kitchen containing everything you would expect to find including a breakfast bar, dishwasher, 5 ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Just off the kitchen is a utility area with a washing machine.
Also on the ground floor are two of the air-conditioned bedrooms - a generous 'master' double with en-suite that has a bath, walk-in shower, twin basins and wc. The 2nd smaller bedroom has a double bed next to a “wet” shower room tiled in a modern Spanish style, this shower-room also has a basin and wc.
A lovely curved, tiled staircase takes you to the upper floor which has a double air-conditioned bedroom and a twin air-conditioned room with another "wet" shower-room and toilet between them. Both bedrooms lead out onto a glorious south facing sun terrace where you can really appreciate the stunning views across to the Mediterranean.
Soak up the views across the Andalucian countryside
Siesta in the shade of the olive tree, or take in the views whilst soaking up the Spanish sun. What a perfect place to relax and let those tensions melt … dissolve and disappear!
The pool (heating extra) is approx. 7m x 4m & has easy access, child friendly steps. Sunbeds & pool towels are provided. There is also a large grassed area for children to play & an outdoor table tennis table.
Relax and enjoy the great wine & cuisine of Spain
With in excess of 320 days sunshine a year, you are practically guaranteed perfect weather for a BBQ. Have a long leisurely lunch sampling some of the best food and drink the Mediterranean has to offer.
Overlooking the pool & gardens is a large covered terrace which in the summer acts as an alfresco living room with a dining area, sofa and comfortable chairs. This is a lovely area to all sit down, relax & enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch from the BBQ. Iberico pork is particularly good here and ribs in BBQ sauce a particular favourite of mine. Fish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the supermarket at Corte Ingles has a fabulous choice. The wines of Spain are fantastic and they like to keep the best ones to themselves, what a better way to spend an evening than to sample different Riojas and Cavas.
If cooking is too much like hard work there are many excellent restaurants in the area. Try the Venta Morena located near the entrance to Mijas golf. If I had to pick one place that I love eating at more than any other, this is it. It is not smart or stylish but noisy and bustling and to top it all the food is fantastic. On the menu my choice to start is usually either an excellent gambas pill-pill (prawns in a very, very hot garlic and chili oil) or boquerones frittos (whitebait to you and me), followed by something from the barbacoa ... the pork ribs are to die for!

Property Guest Book
"We had a family vacation in the El Toril villa during Easter 2014. Mijas Villas made sure that we had a table tennis table available as advertised and the villa was all that we had imagined. Mijas was beautiful and we had lovely time between popping into the town and relaxing in the villa. We had one or two reasons to contact Mijas Villas for assistance and they were at the end of the phone and very helpful, fixing any issues very quickly without fuss.
Thank you for a lovely stay."
Nigel White, Cambridgeshire
