Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of six guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pools towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

A contemporary and stylish Villa decorated to a high standard

The accommodation at La Siesta is on two levels. On the ground floor is the spacious lounge that has a large screen SMART TV and WiFi internet.

Leading from the lounge is a new modern fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops, ceramic hobs, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. Next to the kitchen is a breakfast bar with a picture window that overlooks the gardens. Please note the washing machine is an outside laundry room.

Also on the ground floor is the large air-conditioned master bedroom that has an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate wc. Please note there is a step down into each of these rooms.

The other two bedrooms are on the 1st floor, one has twin beds and the other a super king which is 'zip & link' and can be used as 2 x single beds (request at time of booking). This bedroom also has a private south facing terrace. Both these bedrooms share a modern shower room with a walk-in shower, wc & basin.

Outdoor living is a big part of the lifestyle in Spain, with the year round warm weather this is where you will spend most of your holiday.

With in excess of 320 days sunshine a year, you are practically guaranteed perfect weather for a BBQ. Have a long leisurely lunch sampling some of the best food and drink the Mediterranean has to offer

Dine al fresco on a balmy summer evening and soak up the spectacular views across the Andalucian countryside towards Africa in the far distance. Enjoy time together sharing a BBQ'ed lunch, Iberico pork is particularly good here and ribs in BBQ sauce a particular favourite of mine. Fish is also plentiful and fresh, the fish & sea food counter in the supermarket at El Corte Ingles has a fabulous choice.

La Siesta your Andalucian Oasis

The urbanisation has 2 shared pools, the nearest to La Siesta is just 400 meters away (photo to the right) - this takes approx. 6 - 7 minutes to walk (uphill last 5 minutes).

The 2nd pool (photo below) is 500 meters away next to the Carob bar & restaurant ... this is a large pool with a shallow children's area. Sunbeds are provided by the urbanisation (1st come, 1st served!). Next to this pool is the tennis court. The walk takes approx. 8 - 9 mins (1st half is reasonably on the flat, the 2nd half is downhill).

PLEASE NOTE: La Siesta doesn't have it's own private pool.

Ideally situated to cater for all guests interests

La Siesta is located in the lowlands of the Sierra de Mijas mountain range and is surrounded by pine forest.

The picturesque Andalucian village of Mijas has managed to retain much of its "white village" charm, with cobbled, narrow winding streets, dazzling whitewashed walls and breathtaking views. The village is just 5 minutes away by car and has many charming shops and restaurants - perfect for an early evening stroll.

Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant.

They call this the Costa del Golf and with nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, including more than 30 on the Costa del Sol, it's easy to see why. With year round sun the Costa del Sol is perfect for your golfing vacation; and Mijas is ideally situated for these many championship courses.

La Siesta is also well situated for those seeking a cultural holiday ... the drive to the historic town of Ronda is one not to be missed, and the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is an interesting 2 hour drive. Cordoba and Sevilla are also both easily accessible with a hire car or by coach.
