Next to the kitchen is the shaded BBQ area and large pool (approx. 9m x 5m) which is gated, making this an ideal property for a family with small children. I'm sure that one of your favorite places will be relaxing in the hammock whilst the children splash around in the pool.

The shaded BBQ area is right next to the pool and is a perfect spot for memorable al-fresco meals on your holiday. As you relax into the famous ‘manana’ Spanish way of time keeping, enjoy a long leisurely lunch outside, cool off in the pool and feel refreshed from the wonderful breeze. Whilst waiting for the BBQ to light why not sit on the swinging sofa taking in the view of the Guadahorce valley & enjoy a glass of ‘vino tinto’.

The views from Casa Vistilla

Originally called Dakwan, Coin and it's surrounding area was founded in Moorish times and it’s easy to see why with its outstanding natural beauty.

Even though Casa Vistilla is within walking distance of a local bar and a restaurant, why not explore the countryside and visit one of the many inexpensive ventas (typically Spanish restaurants) dotted around the countryside.

One we visit is called Venta Los Morenos, (you will have passed it on your way from the airport to the villa). The best place is to sit outside on the terrace near the barbacoa (BBQ). It’s busy, it’s noisy, its typically Spanish. Children are more than welcome; the BBQ is fantastic, but be warned, on Sunday don’t expect your meal to appear all at once. If you feel brave try the Iberian prey off the BBQ (and please let us know what it is!)

"Hi Janet
We have been meaning to write with feedback for a while but just hadn't got around to it.

Casa Vistilla (August 2009) - what a beautiful Villa - a little safe haven of peace and tranquility and absolute fantastic for the children. The gated swimming pool, the gated driveway, the grassed area and patio absolutely perfect and so safe for our 18month old. The pool was excellent - so much bigger than expected which pleased our 8 year old no end. We all had a wonderful time and Antonio the Villa owner was an absolute delight to meet.

Coin is not a town we would rush back to but the Villa was a superb base for the area when we chose to leave (which wasn't that often!!).
Thank you for the excellent service with the car - this was very slick! (Glad we didn't have a perfect car as we wouldn't have blended in with the locals)
Many thanks"
