Senorio del Olivar is one of my favourite properties, it is a delightful Spanish home tastefully decorated in sunny Mediterranean colours. Located in the countryside, the grounds of this old olive grove are extensive and a great place for children to explore.
Although in a rural location, Senorio del Olivar is only a short distance from many excellent restaurants and the lovely beach at La Cala de Mijas. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views, country walks and scenic drives.

All the above rates are for a maximum of eight guests + an infant in a cot (crib) and includes: pool maintenance & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory damage waiver fee of £5 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

Sunny Mediterranean colours & quality Mexican furnishings
The spacious lounge/dining room has an impressive timbered vaulted ceiling which helps to keep the room cool & airy in the summer (in the winter there is a log fire to keep you cosy!). There is seating & dining for 8 in the lounge and also on the terrace. TV, CANAL satellite (international but mainly Spanish), DVD player and a cd/radio/cassette player are all provided ... there is even a Sony Playstation for the children (and dads too!). The new kitchen is well equipped and has an electric oven, gas hobs (stove tops), microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine etc.
On the ground floor are two spacious bedrooms each with a double bed ... one of these bedrooms has a bathroom with a bath, wc and basin; the other bedroom has a shower room with walk-in type shower, wc & basin. On the first floor there are 2 large bedrooms (both with twin beds) which share a bathroom with a walk-in type shower, wc & basin. All the bedrooms are air conditioned (with heating in the winter).
The floodlit pool is located next to the shaded patio and BBQ
Enjoy an al fresco meal at the poolside barbecue and then cool off with a dip in the floodlit pool. Senorio del Olivar must be the perfect retreat for that stress-free holiday.

Senorio del Olivar is secluded but not isolated and is in an ideal location to experience the 'Real Spain' ... an area peppered with traditional Spanish restaurants ("ventas") amid breathtaking mountain views.
The beach at La Cala is only 10 minutes by car and is ideal for children and adults alike ... there are several chiringitos (beach bars) that serve mouth watering snacks and seafood. The resort also has many small tapas bars and fine restaurants. A short distance inland is the La Cala Golf and Country Club; several more courses including Miraflores, Mijas Golf, Santa Maria, Rio Real etc ... all are within a 15-minute drive.
