All the above rates are for a maximum of 8 guests + an infant in a cot (crib) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory damage waiver fee of £5 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.
A quality Mediterranean style villa furnished to a high standard
On the main level is a spacious bright lounge (air conditioned) which has SKY satellite (limited channels, free to view pack: BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2, Ch4, SKY news etc), DVD player and a cd/radio/cassette player. The dining room is situated just off the lounge as is the master double bedroom (air conditioned) with ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower.
There is WiFi Wireless ADSL Internet (bring your own laptop). Please note that there is a small connection charge that is paid locally on-line ... available hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.
Down a flight of stairs from the lounge leads to the 2 of the very attractive twin bedded rooms (with fans); these 2 bedrooms share a second bathroom. The fourth air-conditioned bedroom is located next to the pool and has it's own entrance, this bright and vibrant spacious room has two single beds and an ensuite walk-in shower-room with wc & basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hobs, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker etc; there is a seperate laundry room with a washing machine).
The private heated pool at Villa La Ladera
La Ladera gardens are well maintained and cared for, there are superb views across the Andalucian countryside to the Mediterranean beyond. The private pool can be heated (additional charge). The built-in bbq is close to the kitchen and overlooks the pool.
Close to the picturesque village of Mijas
There is something for everyone in this area - the picturesque Andalucian village of Mijas has many charming shops and restaurants, perfect for that early evening stroll. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!
The beaches and aquapark at Fuengirola are only a 10-minute drive away (7km). Lew Hoads' famous tennis club and the riding stables at Alhaurin are also close by. They call this the Costa del Golf and with nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, including more than 30 on the Costa del Sol, it's easy to see why! With year round sun the Costa del Sol is perfect for your golfing vacation; and Mijas is ideally situated for these many championship courses.
