Casa Althea - A Spanish home situated in the peaceful countryside of Andalucia yet just 10 minutes from the picturesque village of Mijas. Casa Althea offers traditional Spain at exceptional value for 2 families.
The pool area is located conveniently immediately outside the lounge. There is the most wonderful shaded terrace with a built-in bbq - perfect for al-fresco dining by the pool in the evening or reading a book in the cool shade during the day ... this is my favourite spot!
Come to Spain where the locals celebrate fiestas with a passion and the atmosphere has a relaxed 'manana' attitude.

All the above rates are for a maximum of eight guests + an infant in a cot (crib) and includes: pool maintenance & all linen/towels (except beach towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory damage waiver fee of £5 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

The pool area has the most amazing views
With views of the Andalucian countryside, the pool area is a great area to relax.
Simply, yet comfortably furnished
The ground floor accommodation comprises of a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a second twin bedded room and a double bedroom - these two bedrooms share a second bathroom with shower. Also on this level is the spacious lounge and open plan kitchen which has an electric oven, gas hobs (stove tops), microwave, fridge/freezer etc. There is also a Spanish TV, a DVD player and a CD / Radio.
On the 1st floor (accessed via an external staircase) is the spacious master double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a view! This bedroom also benifits from it's own private large terrace.
And for those of you that must stay 'connected' (and I'm unfortunately one of them!) Casa Althea also features a WiFi wireless internet connection (must bring your own laptop, no extra costs involved).
Discover the "Real Spain"
Casa Althea is secluded but not isolated; your friendly neighbours won't mind if you make acquaintance with the sheep and the hens that sometimes wander freely through the surrounding area!
This is an area peppered with traditional Spanish ventas (restaurants) amid breathtaking mountain views. The nearest Venta De Los Condes is just 1.5km away and another of my favourites Venta Los Morenos about 5km towards Alhaurin ... if you want serving, wave your arms and hope for the best!
The Seve Ballesteros-designed Alhaurin golf course is just 5 minutes by car as are the riding stables, tennis courts and country club.
