Lovely private pool and gardens to relax in on your holiday
Situated on a small quiet urbanisation, Villa Veleta is located just below the village of Mijas and is set in established, tranquil gardens that where once part of an old citrus orchard.
The pool area is below the terrace and has cool shaded areas to relax in, this area is gated & fenced. There is a bar area with sink & electric points underneath the terrace. There are plenty of sun beds for everyone surrounding the tempting waters of your own private pool. The pool is approx. 8m x 4m and has gentle roman style steps. The can be heated for an additional £100 per week, perfect for slipping into warm waters all year around.

Villa Veleta has a very Mediterranean feel ... colour washed walls and extensive use of local materials makes for a special ambiance.
The inside of the villa is all on one level with the exception of the en suite turret room which is accessed by a separate staircase leading from the terrace. The turret has its own set of keys and is a particular favourite with teenagers or families holidaying with grandparents.
The spacious lounge/dining room has 2 leather sofas, open fire place and has SKY TV (free to view), DVD and CD/cassette/radio. The modern well equipped kitchen with its granite surfaces has a ceramic hobs, electric oven, combination microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and toaster etc.
All of the 4 bedrooms have use of their own bathroom. The spacious master bedroom has a stunning love knot king size bed, en suite bathroom (with bath, shower-over-bath, wc & basin) and its own private terrace. The middle twin bedroom has a nautical theme and has a bathroom opposite with shower over bath, sink, bidet and w/c. The last twin bedroom in the main house has a shower-room opposite with a walk in shower, w/c and sink. The en suite turret twin room has French windows to make the most of the views. This bedroom also benefits from an en suite shower-room with a walk-in shower, sink and w/c.

You can work up an appetite or burn off those extra holiday calories by walking into the village, it takes about 10 minutes ... a route on a quiet road but up a steep hill forabout half of the way .... at least it is all downhill on the way home!
The beaches and aquapark at Fuengirola are only 10 minutes drive away (7km). Mijas Pueblo is just a short hop by car and, if you feel fit, it is also within walking distance.
Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!
They call this the Costa del Golf and with nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia, including more than 30 on the Costa del Sol, it's easy to see why! With year round sun the Costa del Sol is perfect for your golfing vacation; and Mijas is ideally situated for these many championship courses. Villa Veleta is only 10 minutes from Mijas golf courses and 5 minutes from Lew Hoads' famous tennis school.
