Casa Los Cuervos - is a charming villa in an ideal relaxing location; this has to rank as one of my favourite places ... if I didn't already live in Mijas I would holiday here myself!
The elevated position has breathtaking views across the countryside towards the Mediterranean & the Moroccan Atlas mountains in the far distance. Yet you are only a short stroll into the picturesque 'white' village of Mijas with its friendly restaurants and quaint shops.
Casa Los Cuervos is the perfect holiday home with children - the large terrace is immediately outside the lounge/dining area, this terrace is gated from the main pool area making it separate and easy for you to keep an eye on young children.
These rates apply to a maximum of four guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking.
This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.
A lovely traditional villa full of the flavour of Spain
Casa Los Cuervos is a delightful home and full of authentic Spanish charm with its beamed ceilings, lovely old rustic floors and Spanish decor.
This has to rank as one of my favourite places ... If I didn't already live in Mijas I would holiday here myself!
The accommodation comprises of a spacious split level lounge with a separate cosy seating around a wood burning fire and a dining area with seating for 6. Smart TV, a DVD player, CD/radio are all provided.
Leading from the dining area is the new modern well equipped kitchen, complete with granite worktops, ceramic hob (stove top) and oven, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster etc. There is a separate laundry area with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board. Along a corridor from the lounge you will find a cloakroom with WC and basin.
Down a few stairs is a spacious bedroom with two single beds and an en suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. Down a few more stairs is the large, light and airy master bedroom with king sized bed, an en suite bathroom that includes a shower over the bath, WC and basin. The master bedroom has 'French' doors leading directly to the delightful pool area.
WiFi Wireless ADSL Internet is available at Cuervos (bring your own laptop / I-pad).
Large sunny terrace and private pool
Down gated steps is the beautiful pool (approx. 5m x 3m) which has a shallow end & Roman type steps (the pool can be heated for an additional fee).
There is also a large shaded terrace ... just perfect for an afternoon siesta!
Located within walking distance of Mijas Village
Immediately outside the lounge/dining area is a large sunny terrace with a built-in Andalucian style BBQ and an outdoor dining table shaded by a sun parasol. With panoramic views down to the coast and mountains to the west this is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a leisurely lunch or watch the sunset with a glass in hand! Casa Los Cuervos is perfectly situated, nestled into the mountain for privacy yet only 10 minutes walk (900 metres) to the centre of Mijas. The white-washed village of Mijas with donkeys walking along the cobbled streets just shows how life here has remained as traditional as ever. The numerous restaurants and tapas bars give you plenty of places to sample the other Spanish delights.
Down the mountain, just 10 minutes away are the long sandy beaches of Fuengirola, the pretty harbour and many lively bars and restaurants. There is also a fun filled day at the AquaPark close by and numerous water-sports if you are feeling energetic.
If you long to escape to the beauty of the Costa del sol, relax in stunning surroundings and enjoy the year round sun then Casa Los Cuervos is the place for you.

Grace and I were back at Casa Los Cuervos for a week in late September '13 and had another lovely relaxing time in Mijas. It was 2 years ago now when we first came to Mijas and stayed in this fantastic villa and this is now our fifth visit to this beautiful village.Two friends came out for the first time for five nights and were really impressed with the whole area too.
We always said we would return to Los Cuervos and now we're looking forward to returning again to this fantastic place in the sun to enjoy the great views, restaurants bars and shops.......heaven!"
