These rates apply to a maximum of ten guests + an infant in a cot (crib) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory damage waiver fee of £5 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.
Tastefully furnished for both comfort & relaxation
You enter Pinar into a hallway with a lovely circular ceiling. Here you will find a cloakroom with a wc and basin. Off to the right of the hallway is the very well equipped kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic electric hobs (stove tops), fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer and sink. Accessed from either the hallway or kitchen is the spacious lounge-dining room which overlooks and has direct access to the pool & garden. The villa is heated in the winter and in the lounge there is a traditional wood burning fire for those cosy winter evenings spent warming up with a glass of Spanish brandy or two. The lounge is fully equipped with a TV, DVD & VCR player, video library, SKY satellite (free to view pack) and a CD/radio player.
At the other side of the hallway you will find three of the bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. The first bedroom has twin beds, a view of the coast and access to the pool and garden. There is an ensuite bathroom with the shower over the bath, wc and basin. The second bedroom is the master and has a lovely large super king sleigh bed, and views of the coast. The room is tastefully decorated in elegant creams and rich reds. This bedroom also has an ensuite shower-room with a walk-in type shower, wc and basin. The third bedroom also has a sleigh type bed larger than a super king! There are views of the coast and direct access to a front terrace which would be a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee and leisurely read of the paper. This terrace leads directly to the pool and garden area. The ensuite has a bath with the shower over, wc and basin.
The other two bedrooms are found in a separate fully air-conditioned apartment which is located on a level below the main house. The apartment has a bright and airy feel about it, there is dining table for four, a microwave, fridge with a small freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and sink. In the shower room there is a walk-in shower, wc and basin. The lounge/bedroom has a double bed, sofa & chairs, TV with DVD player. In the other bedroom you will find twin beds; this twin bedroom is accessed via the lounge/bedroom & shares the shower-room.
Private heated pool with wonderful views of the Mediterranean
The pool and garden area is a great place to soak up the Spanish sun or relax in the shade whilst enjoying the fabulous views. With the El Pinar's elevated position you can enjoy pine forests to its back and fantastic views of the Mediterranean below, you can even see Africa on a clear day!
There is a covered terrace with a teak circular table for eight, perfect for entertaining. The George Foreman electric BBQ is close to hand, but if you prefer that smoked flavour with your sausages there is also a large built-in Andalucian style BBQ.
With the views of the coast and the pool directly in front of you ... take your time over a leisurely lunch, relax, sit back and enjoy your ice cold glass of tinto-verano whilst watching the children splash around having fun in the sun.
Located close to Mijas Village
The picturesque Andalucian village of Mijas is just a 10/15 minute walk away and has many charming shops and restaurants - perfect for that early evening stroll.
Experience Spain with it's colourful landscape of romantic flamenco dancing, the red cape of the bullfighter and the fantastic flavours of the Spanish cuisine. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' filled with breathtaking mountain views and unspoilt white villages nestling in rolling mountain countryside. Enjoy the local food in a 'Venta' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!?
