Casa Tartuffo - words cannot describe just how peaceful, tranquil and relaxing this beautiful villa is, and with pine forest to its back and the Mediterranean below, the setting could not be more perfect.
Although secluded, the villa is only a short distance from excellent restaurants and charming shops in the picturesque 'white' village of Mijas. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views, country walks and scenic drives.

All the above rates are for a maximum of nine guests + an infant in a cot (crib) and includes: pool maintenance, air conditioning/heating & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory damage waiver fee of £5 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

Furnished and decorated to the very highest of standards
On entering Casa Tartuffo the hallway leads on your right to a magnificent split level lounge which is located next to the dining & kitchen area, immediately outside the lounge is the pool, Jacuzzi and built-in Andalucian style bbq.
The lounge has a TV, SKY satellite (full pack with movies & sports channels), DVD player and a CD sound system. WiFi Wireless ADSL Internet is available at Casa Tartuffo (please bring your own laptop, there are no extra costs). The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hobs (stove tops), microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, juicer etc. There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
Also on this level is a spacious bedroom with 2 x single beds and a separate walk-in type shower-room with wc & basin. The next bedroom has a double bed and a large en-suite shower room with wc & basin. This second bedroom also has a separate room (accessed through an arch) with a single bed ... this area can then either be used as a double or a triple bedroom. All bedrooms are equipped with a TV. Just off the lounge and below the kitchen is your very own Spanish bodega ... the bar is equipped with an espresso maker, fridge, ice machine etc... there is even a darts board.
From the hallway up a flight of stairs leads to the superb master bedroom which benefits from it's own private terrace that overlooks the pool and has views of the Mediterranean ... what a great place to start the day with perhaps a glass of champagne with your morning orange juice and croissants! Ever felt like falling asleep with a lovely log fire in your bedroom ... well in the winter months you can do just that as the master bedroom boasts it's own snug fireplace ... how romantic is that? For the rest of the year the air conditioning will keep you comfortable. As you would expect the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.
On the same level as the master bedroom is the fourth spacious double bedroom, this bedroom also has an en-suite shower room and its own private terrace that overlooks the pool. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and in the winter under-floor heating.
Relax in the Jacuzzi and soak up the views across the Andalucian countryside
The private floodlit pool (heating optional) has a shallow end, is suitable for children and has Roman type steps leading into the side of the pool. The Jacuzzi is situated next to the pool and is large enough for eight people. Sun loungers, parasol etc are all provided for your use.
The bbq area is located close to the pool
The bbq area is a fabulous place to relax on a balmy summer evening sharing a glass of Rioja with your friends and family whilst cooking the 'gambas' on the bbq. Or perhaps you might prefer to read a book or just simply day-dream of your next visit to Tartuffo in the shade of the Casita!
There is something for everyone in this area - the picturesque Andalucian village of Mijas has many charming shops and restaurants, perfect for that early evening stroll. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 15 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try! Lively Fuengirola is just 10 minutes away (8 km) and boasts many fine restaurants, water sports, beaches, a marina and an aquapark. Marbella with its marina and stylish shops is 30 minutes by car.

Words cannot addequately describe howr wonderful our stay was at Casa Tartuffo! We can honestly say, however, that, contrary to many other places we've visited, the pictures on your website could not do justice to the beauty and character of the place.
Being able to experience the serenity of a beautiful Andulasian sunrise in the morning, and surveying the vast expanse of the Meditterean, while enjoying my morning coffee outside along the pool at the end of October -- well, it was paradise.... The villa is so very well situated at the highest point of the subdivision, quiet and peaceful, yet all the amenities of home (and more:-). We were two families travelling together, with four kids between us -- they loved the pool, we loved the hot tub!
The villa is amazing, and so well maintained. The squeals of delight upon entering the place from the kids (and frankly, the adults as well:-) set the tone for a full week of good fun and relaxation while providing a fabulous base to explore all that Andulasia has to offer. Nothing was too far way -- Alhambra, Ronda, Granada, Gilbratar not to mention the lovely village of Mijas itself.
Also, a big thank you for recommending Michael Taylor's services. We were treated like royalty, and the food was fantastic! My 11 year old son, who is so very picky, could not resist trying everything that was placed in front of him at the table!
