A comfortable villa which makes the most of the amazing costal views
As you arrive at Casa Altos Olivos & walk through the front door you can't help but notice the amazing views ... the split level lounge & open plan dining area have panoramic windows allowing you to sit down, relax & take in the sights ... there is even a telescope for getting a better look! The lounge is equipped with a SKY satellite TV (free to view pack - BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Ch4, etc), DVD player, CD player+ WiFi Wireless ADSL Internet (please bring your own laptop, no extra costs).
Next to the lounge up a few steps is the kitchen which has everything you would find at home. A gas/electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer,toaster & kettle etc.
Down a flight of stairs from the lounge you will find all the bedrooms. The first double bedroom on your left is decorated in a striking black & white theme, this has a modern matching B&W ensuite shower room with W/C & sink. The first bedroom on the right has twin beds & has an ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, W/C & sink ... this bathroom has two entrances and is shared with the next double bedroom. The final spacious bedroom has a large double bed & ensuite bathroom with bath, walk in shower, sink & W/C. Please note that these 3 bedrooms can either be accessed inernally through each other or from the outside covered terrace through separate doors to each bedroom to give more privacy.
BBQ by your private pool
Who needs to go anywhere else when you can relax outside at Altos Olivos. The outside areas of Olivos are private & not overlooked by any other properties. The inviting pool is approx. 8m x 4m & has gentle steps leading into the shallow end ... work up an appetite for a long leisurely lunch in the shade. Why not BBQ some local fish bought at the market in Mijas & sample some of the many excellent inexpensive wines & beers that Spain has to offer. After lunch the only choice to be made is ... do you relax on a sun bed or seek a quiet spot in the garden away from it all for an afternoon siesta.

Casa Altos Olivos is perfectly situated, nestled into the mountain for privacy yet only a 10 minute walk (900 metres) to the centre of Mijas ... imagine, in the morning taking a stroll to the bakery for fresh bread, pick up your daily newspaper, and later you find yourself having breakfast on the sunny terrace of Casa Altos Olivos!
The white-washed village of Mijas with donkeys walking along the cobbled streets just shows how life here has remained as traditional as ever. The numerous restaurants and tapas bars give you plenty of places to sample the other Spanish delights.
Down the hillside, just 10 minutes away are the long sandy beaches of Fuengirola, the pretty harbour and many lively bars and restaurants. There is also a fun filled day at the AquaPark close by and numerous water-sports if you are feeling energetic. Inland can be found the 'Real Spain' of breathtaking mountain views and many 'Ventas' - the typical Spanish restaurant. One of our favourites, Venta Los Morenos, is just 10 minutes by car on the Alhaurin El Grande road. It's great for Sunday lunch - very cheap, very Spanish, very noisy - why not give it a try!
